The Answer is Vending Machines that sell cigarettes and Alcohol.

There are many vending machines all over Japan which sell cigarettes and alcohol for example most Convenience stores have at least one vending machine outside the store which sells either Cigarettes or Alcohol.

In New Zealand there are strict laws in place to try and prevent the selling of alcohol and cigarettes to young people so the idea of having vending machines that make these products easily accessible to anybody is very strange.

The answer is Ofuro.

Most people in New Zealand have a shower or regular bath every day; however in Japan most people have a Japanese style bath instead. This kind of Japanese style bath is called Ofuro. When you have a Japanese style bath, you wash yourself outside of the bath tub and then get into the bath afterwards. The Water in the bath tub is heated to a very hot temperature. The bath is also deep so you sit in it up with the water up to the neck.
